Here are some extracts from the HSA about Adrian Thompson and Wayne Spencer.
There were gasps of disbelief at Chichester Crown Court today as a jury acquitted notorious hunt terrier-man, Adrian Thompson, of charges including criminal damage, common assault and affray.
The decision, which surprised even members of the press who had been following the trial, arose from an unprovoked and violent attack on a Hunt Saboteurs van at a meeting of the Crawley and Horsham Foxhounds in March 1996.
Unfortunately the jury were unable to see the enclosed photos of Thompson, otherwise they would have realised what a Countryside Alliance Supporter he really was!!!
We can now reveal that Thompson was aquitted largely as a result of placing all the blame on a mysterious "Wayne" who he claimed he hardly knew. However, we can reveal that this "Wayne" (still wanted by police) was well known to Thompson and is in fact Wayne Spencer who regularly attends the Chiddingfold, Leconfield and Cowdray "Countryman's Day".
